I’m talking about Bible study folks. When do you have time for it? Between diaper changes, crying fits and play time, when do you make time for it? How do you prioritize reading and meditating on the Word? I will not lie, it is a struggle for me. I mean STRUGGLE over here. The munchkin likes my attention, what can I say, I’m that entertaining… haha. No. Not really. But having a baby can throw a monkey wrench into your study time if you let it. I have heard some people let go of that time all together because they can’t find time to sit and do it.

Let me help you out. If something is important to you, you will find time to do it. Whether that is going to the grocery store, meeting with friends or taking the time for self-care. We make time for stuff we care about. So ask yourself, how important is spending time in the Word to me? How important is my prayer life to me? I’m pretty sure most of us would say both of those things are very important to us. So make time. That time you spend laying out on the couch scrolling through Instagram… spend it on your Bible app instead. While baby is napping, crack your Bible open or pray during that time.

Spending time with God is just as important, if not more so, than spending time with our babies. Make that time happen. I know it’s hard and you’re looking around like “what about everything else I have to do?” Nobody said you couldn’t do those things too. Pray as you’re loading up the washer. Talk to your heavenly Father as you’re driving and baby is in the car seat. There’s always time. You just have to get creative. We’re parents, it’s what we do!
